In, 1952, Robert Levy, O.D., established Ocular Prosthetics in the Larchmont Village Area of Los Angeles. Levy, a pioneer in his field, developed many new techniques in the fabrication and fitting of prosthetic eyes to provide more realistic and comfortable results for his patients.

Robert Levy’s artistry, innovation and personal care for his patients has made Ocular Prosthetics nationally and locally known for its excellent quality and results. To continue his life’s work, in 1991, Robert Levy personally chose Stephen E. Haddad, B.C.O., director of the American Optical Prosthetics Eye Center in Massachusetts to lead Ocular Prosthetics. Stephen Haddad expertly leads Ocular Prosthetics and continues Levy’s legacy for exceptional service and artistry by adding his own experience and techniques in the field.

Stephen’s vision is clear and caring as quoted by him, “we understand how important and sensitive our role is in helping to restore the wellbeing of our patients following the loss of an eye. We work closely with our patients and their Ophthalmologists with a team approach to provide the best results for each and every patient individually.”

Stephen’s team will provide you with the best care in the field of Ocular Prosthetics through quality, experience and sensitivity for young or old patients. Stephen has comprised a special team of Ocularists and personally trained them to provide excellent service. His Ocularists continue to develop best techniques for their patients by regularly attending seminars at the American Society of Ocularists meetings, USC, UCLA and other Institutions.
