William J. Clearihue, Ph.D., CRPC
Ocular Prosthetics is pleased to offer the services of William J. Clearihue, a Master of Restorative Prosthetics. William's extensive experience in the field of restorative prosthetics includes the USAF and the Veterans Administration. While in the USAF William attended the UCLA Maxillofacial Prosthetic residency training program. He is a Board Certified Restorative Prosthetic Clinician and a Biomedical Engineer
William was recently awarded the coveted Department of California, R.J. Cosgriff Award for Outstanding Disabled Veteran of the Year, 2009. He has authored several scientific papers in prestigious Medical Journals and has lectured to and instructed Doctors and Clinicians in the design and construction of Biomedical Models and Craniofacial Implants both nationally and internationally. He is currently a team member of the "Operation Mend" for our wounded warriors. William also provides complete prosthetic eye service.
As an Certified Restorative Prosthetic Clinician, William provides his expertise in the custom designing, fabrication and fitting of complex ocular prosthesis (artificial eyes), Removable facial prosthetics such as orbital ocular, nasal, auricular (ear) and mid facial appliances. He is also proficient in the design and construction of finger and toe prosthetics. He has pioneered the field of craniofacial implants on CT Scan Biomedical Models and is widely consulted for his expertise in orbital and craniofacial implants.
William will create restorations which are a masterful work of art, design, function, and esthetics.
